Iran’s president on the sideline of the 6th summit of Eight Islamic Developing Countries (D8) in Malaysia talked with Russia’s prime minister Vladimir Putin on the phone.
In this conversation which Putin had asked for, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad emphasized that Iran and Russia must expand bilateral ties.
The ties are mounting due to the determination of the two sides’ officials, he said and added all the issues which were agreed upon at mutual talks are being implemented.
Putin on his turn pointed to the good commercial cooperation of the two countries saying Russia considers the agreements to be very important.
He also expressed hope that nuclear talks would be continued and would guarantee perfect rights of Iran in regard to the nuclear energy.
